The 26-storey building of the hotel, unique in engineering and architecture, is connected via main lines with all the parts of the city, and is in walking distance to the major museums, attractions, theatres, and restaurants. KAZAKHSTAN can be viewed from any part of Almaty: it is the highest building in the country - 130-m including the crown topping the hotel. Seismic experts consider the building as hardly matched in its seismic stability. The Hotel building is under the constant observation and control of the engineering and seismometric service of Kazakhstan Scientific & Research Institute of the Seism-resistant Construction and Architecture.
