A clean, secure and affordable hostel with an outstanding downtown location: a stroll from the Danube or a short hop on any metro line will bring you to the Mellow Mood Central Hostel.

On our 4 guest floors, we have a range of dormitory rooms with shared bathroom facilities: 4-bed, 6-bed and 8-bed, as well as a few private double rooms which have en-suite bathrooms.
Our Dormitory rooms have strong, comfy bunk beds and individual lockers. They generally have air conditioning, high ceilings, plenty of space and each bed has its own designated locker. There are large separate male and female bathrooms on each floor. Our private twin rooms have en-suite shower and toilet.

An e-mail or fax reservation is highly recommended especially in the busy summer season. Credit card details are also required for a guaranteed booking.

Several activities, adventures, events and programmes are sold at the reception to make your stay as memorable and enjoyable as possible.

The hostel is located in the heart of the city between the central Metro station at Deak Ferenc Square, the Danube promenade and the famous Vaci utca, just a minute’s walk from either one.

To reach us from any part of town:
Exit the metro on to the pedestrian Deak Ferenc utca (right next to Le Meridian Hotel), walk down the street and turn left onto Becsi utca. The hostel entrance is 50m on the right side of the street.
